Meet the Providers

Josh Sanders Family Care Center
Dr. Josh Sanders, LPC, LMFT - Clinic Director

As a strengths-based clinician, I look to help individuals, families, and couples identify and build upon strengths they already possess.  Rather than staying problem-focused, I hope to help clients focus on solutions to their identified problems ultimately resulting in a decline in symptoms experienced and an overall greater satisfaction with relationships and life in general. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I have great respect and enjoyment for working with others in my community. I believe that my own experiences and empathy assist me in being a helpful therapist for members of this population.

In the pursuit of personal growth and healing, we all need authentic and compassionate support. I believe that every client is unique and deserves to be treated with highly individualized care. I take an empathic approach to understanding each individual’s internal experience. My clients can expect an environment free of judgment, embracing of subtleties, and open to complementary treatment strategies.

I treat a variety of conditions including eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, sleep issues, personality disorders, stress, trauma, OCD, life transitions, relationship issues, school and work related challenges, and LGBTQ+ mental health.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2005. I thoroughly enjoy and take pride in my role as a Clinic Administrator – I love to support the employees and help the clinic run smoothly so we can focus on providing the very best in client care. Outside of work, my kids keep me very busy! Two of my favorite things to do is watch my son play baseball and attend my daughter’s choir concerts. During my free time, I enjoy reading, playing board games, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Pam Sterling family care center
Pamela Sterling, MFTC

The most important aspect of therapy is the relationship between therapist and client. Insight and change can only be achieved when a therapist is able to ‘meet clients where they are at.’ My style is client-centered, experiential, and most importantly, nonjudgmental. I specialize in working with families, teenagers, emerging adults, adults, and couples. I pride myself on my ability to develop meaningful, catalytic relationships with my clients, and create an engaging safe space for all.

I believe therapy is a powerful tool for healing and growth. My genuine curiosity, compassion, direct feedback, and desire to uplift individuals’ inherent strengths guide my practice. I am a fierce champion for my clients, working collaboratively to address barriers to sex and intimacy, trauma, anxiety, depression, and significant life transitions. Most importantly, I am committed to building a safe and open space that allows people to show up and discover the most authentic and real version of themselves.

Therapy can be a space to talk to someone who’s not part of your life, to have someone who will listen and who can offer a new perspective. It’s about finding someone you connect with, and who can help you get unstuck or think in new ways. It’s scary, but when it works it’s a great feeling – that’s why I do it.

Patricia Kottaridis family care center
Patricia Kottaridis, MEd., LPC

While therapy is becoming more accepted and talked about in our culture, it still can be an intimidating and scary idea. You can be confident that when working with me, you will be in the driver’s seat of your treatment. Therapy is your time and your space to address the issues you choose. As your therapist, I’m simply there to support you in reaching your chosen destination.

Mary Wolfe family care center
Mary Wolfe, MA, LPC

I am a therapist who is compassionate, without coddling, and will spice up sessions with humor, laughter, and maybe a curse word or two. I strive for a space that fosters growth & conveys the feeling that you aren’t alone. The soul of my work is to help identify the root of the struggle so we can laugh and cry to cope, heal, and be resilient. I’m not here to judge you on your journey; I am grateful to help you along the way.

Alongside processing trauma and past events, I believe having a skill toolbox is equally as important. DBT does just that and more. I use these skills in everyday life and they help with expanding our tolerance window, emotion regulation, and communication with others. It’s hard to get through everyday life when having mental hurdles and together we can come up with solutions to jump over those barriers. I provide a calm environment and meet my clients where they’re at. Setting goals, accomplishing small steps, and recognizing your strengths are some of the keys to successful healing.

The normal ups and downs of life can be difficult enough to navigate through without the added burdens that life
can throw at us. Therapy is a valuable tool to process and work through this roller-coaster we are all living
through as well as any traumatic experiences that may be holding us back. My ultimate goal as a therapist is to provide you with the welcoming and empathetic space needed for you to figure out who you are and what you
need to in order to be your best and most authentic self – my role is to give you the tools and guidance to empower you to get there.
