Meet the Providers

I am originally from New York, but have lived in the mountains of Colorado for the past 20 years. I enjoy all activities that involve being outdoors. I am an avid hiker and love to travel, but cycling is my passion.
I received my medical license from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and did my residency at Michigan State University. I am board certified in general psychiatry, working with adults only. I have worked in a variety of setting, including but not limited to: outpatient, inpatient, consultation, and telehealth.
I approach each patient from a holistic perspective, encouraging patients to utilize a combination of physical exercise, healthy diets, and therapy to help maximize recovery.

I have lived in Colorado for a little over 2 years now. I have a passion for clinical operations and healthcare management. Being part of a team and organization that serves the community is my passion. There are many different pieces to a well-functioning clinic, and I am glad to be contributing with Family Care Center. I love to hang out with friends, go to thrift stores, and try new restaurants and coffee shops!

I have experience working with
varying populations such as: mental health, elementary age children, adolescents, family-centered treatment,
geriatric, substance use, immigrant, homeless, forensic, chronically ill and HIV/AIDS. My passion is working with
families, siblings, adolescents and young adults to help them gain a better understanding of themselves, their
family system and how to manage life changes in healthy ways.

Our health and development are driven by our genetics, environments, and psychological wellness. As a provider, I approach each patient with understanding and empathy, knowing every story is valuable and unique. Through education, treatment therapy, and a shared decision making process, I strive to create a holistic care plan that will help you thrive.

My passion is working with children, adolescents, and young adults to navigate the highs and lows of life. I help individuals and families work through anxiety, ADHD, behavioral concerns, social skills, success in school, and family challenges. I use developmentally appropriate interventions and techniques to foster personal growth through Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Although it takes time and effort to transform suffering into tolerable pain, in the process, there are opportunities for us to grow, strengthen and gain greater clarity as to who we are and how we'd like to move through our lives. In my work with patients, I am present with them through their dark times, help them rely on the strengths they already possess, point toward opportunities that they may not be seeing, and develop their innate gifts which might otherwise remain dormant.

I truly wish to empower my clients to understand their journey and make informed decisions regarding their care. I do not want things to just be okay or good. I want things to get as close to great as possible, even if it turns out I may not be the best person to get you there. Let us figure out how to get there together.

I believe humans are designed to grow, change, and be their best selves. Therapy allows individuals to self-reflect and a space to realize their potential in making change in their lives. I believe in using a collaborative approach, meeting the client where they are at, and giving them the resources/tools/confidence to become their own hero, self-advocate, and determinant of their own destiny in living the best possible.

Therapy can be a space to talk to someone who's not part of your life, to have someone who will listen and who can offer a new perspective. Its about finding someone you connect with, and who can help you get unstuck or think in new ways. It's scary, but when it works its a great feeling - that's why I do it.

I love working with kids, teens and young adults on creating attainable goals, developing strategies and coping skills to work on and manage their anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. By teaching healthy, fun and creative coping skills by helping them overcome their own challenges and find peace and balance. My goal is to hear your pain, trouble and hurt and help validate your feelings so together you can heal, learn from and move forward from your past experiences and have a wonderful future.

I have loved living in Colorado for 22 years now! I am the Medical Office Receptionist for the Lone Tree Clinic and I feel grateful to be such an integral part of our team. I have always been an advocate for mental health and being the first person to greet and assist our clients is an immense responsibility that I take very seriously. We have an awesome staff here at Lone Tree and I love supporting this amazing team!
